This is the cavern dive of your dreams! We drive down a bumpy road to reach Cenote Dreamgate, one of the many cenotes connected to the Sac Actun cave system, one of the longest underwater cave systems in the world.
There are two (upstream and downstream) dive circuits in this cavern. Every twist and turn unravels the most impressive rock formations. The floor is covered in very fine sediment so you must frog kick and have good buoyancy control to keep from silting up the cavern.

Angelita (“Little Angel” in English) is a circular open cenote in the middle of the thick jungle. This cenote is one big deep pit, 55m/180ft deep, but we’ll only explore down to 30m. This cenote is popular among freedivers so you’re likely to spot one down at 30m.
We’ll reach the 2m/6ft thick layer of hydrogen sulfide at 30m/100ft. The cloud is made of gas produced by the decomposing tree and other organic materials on the cenote floor. Visibility will be reduced when descending through the thick white cloud so make sure to stay tight with the group. Light doesn’t pass through the cloud so it’ll be dark under there with a yellow tint and it’ll smell like rotten eggs. After having fun in the cloud, we’ll make a spiral ascent and towards the end of our dive, we’ll go through a small swim-through. This dive will be one of the coolest dives you’ve ever done in your life!
